Basic Membership Fee - $24.00/year
With a basic membership, BoatU.S. pays the FIRST $50.00 of
each incident. (This means that you're responsible for all
towing costs above and beyond the first $50.00. At over
$190.00 per hour, the towing costs can add up quickly.)
$150.00 per incident Freshwater - $24.00+$12.00=$36.00/year
BoatU.S. pays the FIRST $150.00 of each incident. (Keep in mind
that portal-to-portal costs on the Delaware River start at
over $190.00 per hour!)
$150.00 per incident Saltwater and Freshwater - $24.00+$18.00=$42.00/year
BoatU.S. pays the FIRST $150.00 of each incident. (Again,
keep in mind that the average tow on the Delaware River
easily exceeds $500.00.)
Unlimited Freshwater Towing - $24.00+$34.00=$58.00/year
BoatU.S. pays the entire bill within a towing service area.
This is for all inland lakes and rivers, and the Great Lakes.
(If you do all your boating on the Delaware River then this
may be the perfect package for you. If the Tullytown Cove and
Dredge Harbor, or the Tweeter Center and Penn's Landing are
among your destinations, then this package could be the way
to go, You're covered all the way from the Delaware Memorial
bridges to Trenton.)
Unlimited Saltwater and Freshwater Towing - $24.00+$125.00=$149.00/year
BoatU.S. pays the bill within a towing service area. This is
for all Coastal areas and inland 50 miles from the coast,
and all of Florida. Provides 100% coverage for towing from
restricted docks and 50% coverage from home docks. (If
you journey further down the Delaware to places like the C&D
Canal and beyond, Cape May, Wildwood and other spots at the
Jersey shore then choose this package for your boating peace
of mind.)
Unlimited Gold Saltwater and Freshwater Towing - $24.00+$157.00=$181.00/year
BoatU.S. pays the bill within a towing service area.
Provides 100% coverage from both restricted and home docks
for repairs. (If your slip or mooring is not near your
maintenance facility and you think you may at some point
need towing for repairs then this is the package for you.)
As your towboat captains, we strongly encourage you to
pay a little more upfront and go with an unlimited towing
package.
That way you can kick back and relax, secure in the
knowledge that all your towing costs are covered.
Remember, your BoatU.S. and TowBoatU.S. membership goes to you not your boat. Your membership applies to all vessels you own. You are also covered if you borrow or charter a boat provided the owner is not onboard with you.
